Learning Management Systems (LMS) have become essential in modern education by enabling efficient
digital learning environments and streamlining academic processes. This paper presents the design and
deployment of a web-based LMS developed using the Django framework in Python. The proposed system
focuses on providing a structured platform that supports multiple user roles, including administrators,
instructors, and students, each with specific functionalities and access controls.
The system integrates key features such as course creation and management, assignment submission,
automated grading, and real-time communication between users. Additionally, the platform ensures
compliance with institutional requirements by maintaining proper data handling, role-based
authentication, and secure access mechanisms. The architecture of the system is designed to be scalable,
modular, and user-friendly, ensuring ease of use and adaptability in different educational settings.
The implementation results demonstrate improved efficiency in managing academic activities, reducing
manual workload, and enhancing the overall learning experience. Furthermore, the system supports
remote accessibility, making it suitable for both traditional and online education models. Future
enhancements may include the integration of artificial intelligence for personalized learning and
advanced analytics for performance tracking.
