Journal of Clinical Nursing Research and Practice

Publication Charges

Journal of Clinical Nursing Research and Practice (JCN-RP) follows an Open Access publication policy, under which all published articles are made freely and permanently available online immediately upon publication. This policy ensures unrestricted access for readers worldwide and supports the wide dissemination of research in clinical nursing and healthcare practice.

As an open-access journal, the Journal of Clinical Nursing Research and Practice does not generate revenue from print subscriptions, online access fees, or pay-per-view charges. Instead, the costs associated with the publication process are supported through an Article Processing Charge (APC), also referred to as a Publication Fee, which is incurred by the author.

The Article Processing Charge covers essential publishing services, including but not limited to:

  • Editorial and peer-review management systems for authors, editors, and reviewers
  • Coordination and administration of a rigorous peer-review process
  • Manuscript production, copyediting, formatting, and online publication
  • Journal hosting and digital publishing infrastructure
  • Technical, administrative, and editorial support services

These services are necessary to ensure the delivery of a transparent, rigorous, and professional publishing process consistent with international scholarly standards.

The Article Processing Charge is payable only after the manuscript has been formally accepted and prior to publication. Payment of the APC does not influence editorial or peer-review decisions, which are based solely on the scientific and academic merit of the manuscript.
